Gastronomy :

Alsace  is also the place to enjoy the sensual pleasures of gastronomy. ..

You probably know of choucroute (sauerkraut), beackaoffa (a casserole of meat and vetetables in white wine), and Kugelhopf (a famous cake of the region)...

But do you know about  le paté vigneron (winemakers' pate) ?  les Roigebrageldi ( a dish of potatoes and baconn) ?  or les Fleischschnaka (a meat snack) ?

Have you already tasted a choucroute salad ?  potato cakes ?  a delicious white cheese tart ?

And then, as you travel the Wine Route, you will inevitably visit one or the other wine cellar to sample a Muscat, a Tokay, a Gewurtztraminer V.T.  "late-harvested grapes, etc...

There is no way you will leave Alsace with an empty stomach !
